Replacement Meter Boxes

Meter Box Replacement Policy: §175.00 to replace "HOMEOWNER" is responsible. We are replacing meter boxes that do not drain, making it hard to read the meter and to determine if gaskets are leaking. The new meter boxes are designed to be a few inches above ground level which helps prevent water from getting into the box and if water does get in the box, it drains a lot better. We are putting a flag by the meter to help locate the box, in the past these flags have been knocked down or removed. Perhaps the people mowing remove the flags to make it quicker to mow or weed eat around the box. If your meter box is damaged by being run over by a vehicle or a lawn mower the “"HOMEOWNER" will be responsible for the cast of replacing the meter box and)/or the lid to the meter box, | called Core and Main, the company where we purchase the meter boxes, the replacement cost is $175.00 . If you use a lawn service, please let them know that "YOU” will be responsible for replacing damaged meter box,
